Doppelganger Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Doppelganger website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Service Description

Doppelganger is a cloud-based service that provides access to Android devices through web browsers, offering features such as location customization, microphone input, and push notifications.

3. User Registration and Account

3.1. To use Doppelganger, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password.

3.2. You must be at least 13 years old to use Doppelganger, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Pricing

4.1. Doppelganger offers both free and paid tiers. The paid tier extends the features of the free tier and is available through a monthly subscription.

4.2. Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to the paid tier, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription.

4.3. Doppelganger does not accept requests for refunds. All sales are final.

4.4. Nefum LLC reserves the right to change the pricing structure at any time.

5. User Responsibilities and Restrictions

5.1. You agree not to use the Platform to violate the terms of service of any applications or services accessed through Doppelganger.

5.2. Nefum LLC reserves the right to suspend any devices or accounts where abuse is suspected.

5.3. You agree not to attempt to circumvent any platform safeguards or security measures.

6. Data Privacy and Security

6.1. Doppelganger uses Sentry and Google Analytics, which place cookies on your device. We also use cookies to track conversions, store preferences, and provide authorization.

6.2. When you create a device, all data produced by and inputted into the device ("Device Data") is stored securely on a production-secure server kept up-to-date with all security protocols.

6.3. Doppelganger is based in the United States and complies with United States privacy laws.

6.4. We will never use your Device Data for profit, but we reserve the right to abstractly analyze it for detecting abuse.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. Applications accessed through the Platform shall only be streamed. Users may not download or redistribute these applications.

7.2. The Doppelganger brand name and logo may be used for purposes of editorial discussion but may not be used to impersonate the brand.

7.3. The Doppelganger source code, while publicly available for security audits, transparency, and open-source contributions, may not be redeployed commercially.

8. Service Availability and Updates

8.1. Nefum LLC does not guarantee any specific level of service uptime.

8.2. Devices will only be updated manually by the user, unless there is a serious performance or security implication. In such cases, Nefum LLC reserves the right to update the device and service as necessary.

9. Termination of Service

9.1. Nefum LLC reserves the right to terminate a user's account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to chargeback attempts, detected abuse, and circumvention of platform safeguards.

9.2. If a user chooses to delete their account or has their account terminated, all data shall be deleted from the platform unrecoverably.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nefum LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

Nefum LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes to these terms by posting a notice on our homepage or sending you an email.
